How I got here

Growing up just outside of Rutherglen, North East Victoria, wine was in my blood. After completing my Bachelor of Business Degree in Marketing & Hospitality Management I commenced working for The Casama Group across all of their premium wine portfolios including red+white, Mezzanine and Deja Vu. Since then I have worked in marketing roles for companies including; The Rathbone Wine Group, Lavazza Coffee, Moet Hennessy, The Hidden Sea Wines and Vandenberg.

My studies in marketing have continued (dare I say it, my degree went out of date very quickly) including digital marketing courses (paid and organic), branding workshops in a digital age & most importantly Seth Godin’s online 10 week workshop. Not to mention 19672 business and marketing books and counting.

Today, while my love for wine remains as do many of my customers, I have returned to my early working roots and am privileged to work with a number of Melbourne’s best hospitality groups as a Marketing Manager and as a consultant.

Today – why I started Piccolo.

After 15 years in the industry, I identified today’s biggest requirement; flexibility! Projects come and go, staff change leaving skill gaps and workload can be seasonal. The key to any businesses succeeding is being able to adapt to the market and your client’s needs.
